Where else but New York
Where else but New York would you see an Annual Bicycle Fetish Day? Tomorrow the City Reliquary Museum and Civic Organization (cityreliquary.com) is hosting a giant block party in Williamsburg, Brooklyn to reward and encourage members of Transportation Alternatives and like-minded individuals. Booths and activities are set up to address all facets of bicycle riding. Even art displays will be devoted to “yer ole bike”. A rousing party continues 6-10 p.m. So, dust off your Schwinn and pedal on down! Where else but New York would eating be synonymous with a city? On Sunday you can participate in an “Multi-ethnic eating tour”. Sponsored by the New York Historical Society, it encompasses Chinatown, Little Italy and the lower east side. The meet up is on the corner of Essex and Delancey streets. The big dilemma is what to eat without filling up between those great turkey, and pastrami sandwiches on rye with good sour pickles versus meatball and sausage heros and the most incredible Italian pastries in the world or the best Chinese food you have ever savored. I can smell all the wonderful aromas of these ethnic foods now and my mouth is watering. <script type=”text/javascript”>var addthis_pub=”bhales”;</script><a href=”http://www.addthis.com/feed.php?pub=bhales&h1=http%3A%2F%2Fblogfrog.today.com&t1=” onclick=”return addthis_open(this, ‘feed’, ‘http://blogfrog.today.com’)” alt=”Subscribe using any feed reader!” target=”_blank”><img src=”http://s7.addthis.com/static/btn/lg-feed-en.gif” width=”125″ height=”16″ alt=”Subscribe” style=”border:0″/></a><script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://s7.addthis.com/js/200/addthis_widget.js”></script><!– AddThis Button END –>
